Cheeseburger Pie

A quick and easy kid friendly meal. Can add anything you like to this recipe to make it your own. This is what I like to add to it. 

1 lb. ground beef
2 can crescent rolls
2 teas. garlic powder
1 teas. onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 teas itailian season
2 small cans tomato sauce
2 cups mozzeralla cheese


Brown ground beef and drain. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and tomato sauce.
Mash cresent rolls in bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Place mixture mixture on top and cover with mozzrella cheese 2nd crescent roll pack and bake covered for 30 minutes.  Make a nice salad and enjoy...

Granola Bars

My kids and I love granola bars. So I like to experment with different ingredients in these.  These are one of my favorite ones.

3 cups oats
1 can eagle bran
1 cup nuts ( your choice)
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup rasins
1 stick butter melted
1 1/2 teas. cinnamon


In a large bowl mix together oats, eagle bran, nuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, butter and cinnamon together well. Press in bottom of a 9x13 baking dish greased with butter and bake 325 for 25 to 30 minutes  or until golden brown. Let cool and cut into bars. Store tightly.

To keep potatoes from budding out, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes.

Easy Yummy Salmon Patties

If you like salmon , you will love these.  They are easy  to find something to go with it. Like mash potatoes, rice, noodles, green beans, limas, broccoli and anything you may like. You could even make a sandwich out of them.


1 7 oz can salmon drained and flaked
1 egg beaten
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teas dried onion flakes
2 cups crushed saltine crackers
lemon pepper to taste

Mix salmon, egg, oil, onion flakes, crackers and lemon pepper together and pat into patties.  Bake for about 10 minutes on 375. you can fry these too, I just don't fry much...

Salisbury Steak

This is a very simple and quick take on this dish. It is very good and can be served with rice, noodles, mash potatoes, green beans, limas, broccoli or peas. Or what ever you may like.


1 lb. ground beef
1/3 cup herb seasoned stuffing crushed
1/2 small onion finely chopped  Opt.
1 egg beaten
1 tablespoon veg. oil
1 can beef gravy
1 jar sliced mushrooms

Mix ground beef with stuffing,onion and egg. Shape into 4 large patties. Cook in skillet with oil until patties are brown to your liking. Stir in gravy and mushroom and simmer for 5 minutes and enjoy..
